I for one will never move!! Many Thanks.I will never leave FSX either. Having said that, I will also dip my toes into X-plane and FSW. I am really disapointed in the community over the last.decade really. This community used to be nothing but help when somebody needed it and now it's mostly ridicule and judgemental-ism. When somebody made a mistake nobody jumped their asses for it, they just politely corrected them and then asked if they could help. I long for the days of FS98!
I would sacrifice the graphics for a great community any day. Last edited by data65; at 01:47 PM. I'm also an assiduous fan FSX and always will be. I have my FSX for 6 years without uninstalling with thousands of airports, anyone who is FSX will hardly migrate to another until because the work they would give to transfer the add-ons would be huge.
My FSX is perfect without OOM crashes, nothing. If they no longer develop scenarios for FSX then they lost another client. I spend an average of $70 a month in pennies and I have a full house Cockpit. I do not criticize the new Sims, but in order to outperform FSX users who are over 30 years old, the new Sims and new developers will have a lot of work to do until they convince us. I don't get the 'FSX Forever' stuff. That's like remaining on Windows 95 and being upset that Microsoft no longer supports it.
Technology moves forward, and as consumers, we can chose to move forward with it or get left behind. Developers do not have the time or money to develop for 4 platforms; they will go where a majority of their current and future customer base is - P3Dv4, XP11, and hopefully FSW. So I'm guessing that while FSX is still the most used platform, developers are seeing that trend dissipate rapidly. Consumers will move forward with technology; that's why Fly Tampa isn't developing for Flight Sim 98.
